US Scott 319 2¢ George Washington (perf. 12, type I) on cover with corner card of The Menger Hotel, San Antonio, Texas. Addressed to Mr. W. B. Smith of Glasgow, Kentucky, and postmarked in San Antonio on November 10, 1905.
Cover was postmarked in Glasgow on November 13, but Mr. Smith had apparently traveled to Lockhart, Texas, to which the envelope was redirected and at which it received a November 15 received postmark on the reverse.
Cover is damaged, reduced at right with right third of stamp missing, and has other flaws.
